I replied to "How to get Tank Off" When I typed in the petcock it posted petthingy. Is this to not allow some words to be seen? In the future I'll use "fuel shut off valve" when refering to the more common name of pet c o c k.

There must a filter on this board to block what could be offensive lanuage and replaces it with another word with about the same meaning that is less offensive.

LOL, guys, yes there is an automatic word censor that is part of the Yabb forum technology, which is what this forum uses, as does a few other forums like Beginner Bikes. So when you want to say petc-ock, you have to put hypens, or spaces or whatever.

It seems a favorite translation that Yabb uses for 'bad' words is "thingy"...
