Title: New Savage oil leak Post by Greg_650 on 06/18/04 at 14:23:35 Anyone ever seen a leak from around the starter o-ring?  I have an oil leak behind the front drive pulley.  Not bad, but I think that I may have removed the starter, one too many times....I know there is a drain hole in the cavity below the starter and wonder if it is running out of there.

Title: Re: New Savage oil leak Post by Kropatchek on 06/18/04 at 15:48:15 Indeed there is a drain hole from the below starter cavity that drains over the pulley . even oil leaking from the head, speedometer cable, cylinder head plug will drain to that place. Clean and check again.
