Hello everyone,

I just bought my wife an 87 savage as an aniversary gift.

She loves this bike ;D

Now, I am ready to start tinkering on it.

What is a good oil & air filter to use on this bike? Any preferences to brand/type/etc.

Any PNs would be helpful too.

There is a lot to tell you, but the best thing would be for you to get a Clymer Manual first.

Oil filters are all about the same. You can get them at the dealer or some place like JC Whitney. Air filters are a bit different but you can get them OEM or go with K&N.
