Title: 2000 Savage gas tank?? Post by savagethumper on 08/02/04 at 20:50:27 I saw that Greg_650 noted that the 2000 model Savage had a different tank.  I've looked at a 2000 Savage photo and I can't see the difference except for the sticker on the tank.  What's the difference?  Just curious.  I saw a tank from a 2000 for sale in the paper, and if it's better I'll get it.

Post by Greg_650 on 08/03/04 at 13:04:30 Well of course it does.  And if I might add, the 2000's also had the best looking tank design of all the years.  The Suzuki designers really made that year special  :P I just meant that the design and outline with the word "Savage" is different than the rest of the years.  Maybe it was a Y2K bug that got involved. Aside from that, there is no physical difference.
