Title: Left Grip Bar Removal??? Post by rocknrob on 08/19/04 at 18:06:24 Putting a drag bar on and got everything off the stock handlebars except for the left grip bar. Is it glued on?!? Please Help!! |

It’s a “rubber cement” type of glue and the bond can be broken by inserting something long, skinny and flat (like a metal letter opener or screwdriver, etc…) between the rubber grip and the handlebar. Work your way around and maybe give it a shot of lubricant. I heard that rubbing alcohol works too. Me, I just used a knife cut a slit down the grip and threw it away. Never regretted it since my new ISO-grips are so much better. Hope this helps. :) |
