Title: belt tension Post by suzyssuzi on 09/06/04 at 07:13:03 now that the bike is up and running can anyone tell me how tight the belt shoud be, i do not have the tool that checks tension , how much chould the belt move up and down at the center, like checking a chain ? bike is a 86 savage . |

Title: Re: belt tension Post by klx650sm2002 on 09/07/04 at 10:29:14 Once You have the tension set as the above you can work out how to measure it in an easier way. You could try topped out and measure it from a fixed point on the swingarm to the belt pushed down. Much easier to do. Clive W :D |
