Hello,

I am new to the motorcycle world and just recently obtained a 1998 Savage used. I can honestly say that I am truly in love with this motorcycle. It is a lot of fun to ride and the sound is great. :D

I have been looking at this forum a lot and have gotten a lot of useful information. My clymer manual is on order so I haven't even begun to think about upgrades or accessories yet. ;)

I hope to talk to you all again.

8)Congrats on the Savage! I too am a very happy Savage owner and find it to be great no-frills motorcycle that is heaps of fun to Ride and generates a lot of interest at local "Bike Nite" ... especially from hard-core Harley owners believe-it-or-not!
Enjoy your newly aquired mount ... it is truely a unique motorcycle!
