I just tried to join over at the yahoo forum. Man.....What a Bi*ch... They made me type in all this information about myself and then told me my application would be reveiwed and they would let me know if I was accepted. I feel like I just had a crappy job interview. :-/

Sometimes they seem to be a bit too exclusive over there, they ride Savages so they can't be that bad.

They try to exclude non bikers and lurkers in that forum. The name Be_Savage attracts a lot of wierdos believe it or not. Alot of people think the name implies some sort of a singles group. Still, even with screening new members, their topics of discussion are often way off subject anyway.

Yeah, I joined it when I was first looking for a Savage but haven't really frequented it at all. There's another one that's somewhat specific to Central Texas (mostly the Austin area) also. I think it's just called Savageowners.

Likewise, I don't frequent the Be_Savage forum much anymore ... this Community is light-years better ... lots of great advice and interesting banter!
Used to frequent the Beginnerbikes.com Message Boards ... they were a super bunch of folks and the format similar to this, but the website closed and now the once close-knit community has been fractured to a few other websites ...
Yeah, this is a pretty cool place to hang out!
