Title: Where'd everyone go? TV? Garage?
Post by WD on 04/03/05 at 01:13:35

Boy, it's been dead on the net tonight. Here, both Toyota forums I belong to, the truck forum...

I realize the Pope passed away Saturday. My condolences to those of you who are religious, he was a good man. I can understand being glued to the TV for that.

Hmm, I sent some tech out today, so, maybe people are in the garage getting greasy. Must be nice, I have to work in the parking lot and it hasn't stopped raining for a week.  :P At this rate, I won't be riding until this time NEXT year.  >:(

I was riding nearly all day yesterday.  I checked into this forum a couple times, but all the kids were wanting me to take them riding.

Beautiful day in North TX.  Today looks the same.  Kids woke me up this morning wanting to ride again.

Most of yesterday we rode the crotchrocket, today will be Savage day.

The Pope was a big outdoorsman, according to an article I read on the web today.  http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/3509770?CMP=OTC-K9B140813162&ATT=230
As recently as January, he was out blessing the Ferrari racing team.  I ain't Catholic, but Pope JPII was an admirable man who never wavered on his convictions.  I can appreciate that.

I know the feeling WD, just got 2 1/2 inches of rain in 24 hours on top of the week of rain we got all last week. They are calling for an emergency flood watch all along the Delaware river which means my favorite twisties along the river are going to be covered in silt for the next month. Ed L.

May be it is time to swap the MC fo a  canoe ;D
By the way in Delaware in couple of hrs ends a very cheap auction for a 87 Savage. It is not worthed for me taking in concideration the delivery expences :'(, but may be some of the Forum members will benefit of it.

Hey Ed -- I can't BELIEVE how much rain we are getting in good ole PA. We went out yesterday and the water on the roads was incredible. Several of the creeks and rivers near us are under flood warning. We have a really small creek that goes along the side of our property (more like a drainage ditch) and last night when I went outside it sounded like it was a river!

Susan, haven't seen that much rain since Ivan last year. Thinking about taking the cage down to the river this afternoon to see if it is flooding. The falls up at Easton must be really something to see after all this rain. Looks like the best day will be Wendsday for riding, might try to sneek out for a couple of hours ;D. Guess I'll need to plan a new route cause river road will be a mess for a couple weeks at least. Ed L.

Man, while all of you are suffering from too much rain, we're looking at possible drought here in Idaho.  We've been getting some rain over the past few weeks, but this winter was extremely dry.

We had mini blizzards all day long Saturday.  And it was 70f on just Wednesday.

55f out now, one day later.  ???
