Title: Would it be possible to.... Post by threezukes on 04/10/05 at 05:23:12 slide the front forks up in the mounts to lower the front end?  I know people do it on their motocross bikes to help with the handling, but  has anyone ever tried it on their Savage?

I know what you mean, but nope.  Not without changing the top triple tree to one that clamps the fork.  The cap on the top of the fork actually retains the fork in the tree.
