Title: Riser Spacing Post by hellstorm on 04/11/05 at 07:00:28 Just wondering what the riser spacing is on the Savage? Is it 3.5" on center or 4.0" on center? Thanks,Brian |

Title: Re: Riser Spacing Post by hellstorm on 04/11/05 at 20:33:41 Thanks! Although that really stinks cuz I had my heart set on a nice set of Arlen Ness bars. Oh well guess I'll go with risers and a drag bar instead. I ordered the same bars that you have from cycle accessories outlet, but they are on backorder and they didn't even let me know. They won't even answer E-mail. So the last e-mail I sent I told them to cancel the order. Do you know off hand what the rise and pullback is on your bars, I'd kinda like to replicate the wishbone t-bar feel. Thanks, Brian |
Title: Re: Riser Spacing Post by gitarzan on 04/11/05 at 20:55:12 Here's some other bikes with the same spacing: (At least I think they do, investigate first. You also need to consider bolts, etc.) Suzuki Intruder VS600 Suzuki Intruder VS700 Suzuki VL1500 Intruder Kawasaki VN 1500 Vulcan Honda VT750 Spirit/Ace, VT1100, Yamaha V-Star 650/1100, Drag Star XVS650 Suzuki Marauder 800, Volusia 800 |
Title: Re: Riser Spacing Post by hellstorm on 04/12/05 at 05:24:59 Thanks for all your help. I already ordered 6" pullback risers from american chrome and a 32" drag bar from custom chrome. Not exactly what I wanted, but a heckufa lot better than those buckhorns. I just won't ever do business with cycle accessories outlet again. They have yet to answer an E-mail, it's ok though the last one i sent was to cancel my order. Thanks, Brian |
