Well everyone, I sold my Savage on eBay. I got twice what the dealer was offering me. I got a brand new Intruder 1400 (okay, it's called a Boulevard S83, but I like Intruder better). It's a great lookin bike and I'm gonna have a lot fun with it. I had a lot of fun with Savage and I'll probably come back and visit this site time to time. Here's a pic of my new bike:

Thanks for all the advice and the friendly chatting (especially those on the other Savage forum, as I've been going there much longer).

I had 1992 one not too long ago. Sold it with slightly less than 80K. Ran perfectly. Was not a bad bike overall.

Congrats RG ... the S83 is a beautiful Bike ... as was your Savage ... one of the nicer Custom LS650's I've seen.

Hey RG,

that's a sweet-looking bike!!!! :-* I wish I could afford one just for the highway, my Savage is light on open roads...

If you visit, you just make sure you change your motto... something like "05 black sweet Intruder" would do fine...

enjoy and visit often (bring the pie, though... ;D )
