I was looking for what the actual Horsepower on a Savage is (anyone have a close idea or estimation) and found this link

site lists the savage as a suitable chasis for conversion. I think i'll stick with mine the way it is :)

No snorkel on air box and a rassk pipe gives 0-60 mph in 5.94 seconds.

I believe that actual Horsepower is 32.

The numbers I have for the standard Savage are :-

24.6 bhp @ 5000 rpm
30.5 lb.ft @ 3700 rpm

87 mph
0-62 8.1 seconds

I've got a 350hp :o compressor motor that would make one hell of a scooter 8)
