Title: And Dismount Post by Oklahoma_Mike on 04/28/05 at 05:03:14 I am going to pull the rear tire today to get it balanced :-/. Any special demons >:( I should look out for on doing this? I do not have the stock tool bad and do not have the belt tension gage. I have read on other post some suggest throwing this tool out anyway. What are you thoughts? Thank you all, Mike 8) |
Title: Re: And Dismount Post by gazab44 on 04/28/05 at 08:32:54 I work with alot of belt pullies and was taught that it is tensioned correctly when you can just twist it to 90 degrees on non-drive run..so I use this method on the savage (bottom run) .... :) |

a trick i did when reinstalling was to reverse the axle. it originally pulled out muffler side as was a touch difficult to get passed. i just put in the other way and put the nut on the muffler side. |
