Title: Off Topic Batteries

Anyone ever buy a car battery from Wally Wal Mart? The price is much lower than everywhere else. Are they crap?

Been buying car/truck batteries from Sam's Club (Wal-Mart sibling) for about 15 years, no problem.  Had a battery die inside of warranty, replaced no questions/minimal cost (might have been no cost -- it's been a while and the memory is the second thing to go.)

A battery is a battery as far as I am concerned, unless you are asking for extreme duty such as sit for a month and then start the car.

There's just not very many different places in the US that actually make batteries vs. just a label here's a link on who makes what.

Picked one up last night. The quality is incredible. 845 CCA and 1000 CA. The battery even has dual teminals (side & top). I would've paid over $100 for this battery at Sears. Price at WalMart....$60.00.

Most likely made by the same people - just a different label - what i like about walmart is the little bag on the side to put your receipt in.

Yes! The receipt pouch. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best.  ;D
