Title: Off Topic Batteries Post by Nightrain on 05/03/05 at 14:16:13 Anyone ever buy a car battery from Wally Wal Mart? The price is much lower than everywhere else. Are they crap? |
Title: Re: Off Topic Batteries Post by Paladin on 05/03/05 at 17:00:18 Been buying car/truck batteries from Sam's Club (Wal-Mart sibling) for about 15 years, no problem. Had a battery die inside of warranty, replaced no questions/minimal cost (might have been no cost -- it's been a while and the memory is the second thing to go.) A battery is a battery as far as I am concerned, unless you are asking for extreme duty such as sit for a month and then start the car. |

Title: Re: Off Topic Batteries Post by Nightrain on 05/04/05 at 08:29:42 Picked one up last night. The quality is incredible. 845 CCA and 1000 CA. The battery even has dual teminals (side & top). I would've paid over $100 for this battery at Sears. Price at WalMart....$60.00. |
