I used to use a 9 volt battery on my braces when I was a kid. ;D, never thought of sucking on a wall socket >:(. Hey, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Ed l.

Did the 9v myself - still do but that's another story - vstar-vader had to be the result of 120v on one part or another
