Allright I read lots of topics and didn't find anything on this so i started a new topic. I really thing chrome levers would look killer on the bike. From what of i read most parts from most years are interchangeable. maybee just a little hack but it will work. i saw these levers on ebay

but it says only 95-99 any ideas? i'm prolly gonna get a set and see if i can make it work but wanted to know if anyone had tried it or had any experience or might know what changed that would make not fit.

If you buff and polish the stock ones they look like chrome, lots cheaper. Thats what I did.

Installed the chrome levers from your second URL on my 2002. Look good, fit fine. To me the chrome levers have a different and better "feel" than the stock ones.
