Title: Paladin: correction to lake day photo legend
Post by Jack P. Starrantino on 07/11/05 at 18:25:08

Paladin,

I think Susan's lake day photo off the poster's picture galley might be mislabeled: Lake Nockamixon is in PA.

Susan,

Looked like you picked a good day. Are you from Bucks? I'm in Warminster.

Jack

Arrgh!  That's what happens when you depend upon memory.
Got our two cute blondes confused:

Thanks for the catch.

Thanks Jack and Paladin!  :D

Jack, I'm on the edge of Montgomery county. Over by Green Lane if you know where that is. It was a beautiful day -- have you ever been to Nockamixon?

Heading over to lake Noxamixon was one of my favorite rides last year before I moved to Florida. I would take 611 to 412 and ride 412 up till it hit 212. Then run 212 back over to 611 south and 412. Then I would stop a Pryuski's at the corner of 611 and 412 for a ice cream cone, run up to 563 and over to lake Noxamixon. I am still looking for some twisties here in Florida, nothing so far has been even close to the roads in Upper Bucks. Here are some pics of my '02 at the lake last year.

Even got a couple rides to Green Lane but forgot the camera. Ed L.

Yes, I've been to Nockamixon a number of times. Like you, I have a kayak and I did my first year practicing on the lake.

I've also taken my boat up there a couple of times when they've opened the spillway, but I chickened out both times.
