Title: Prices (NEW) Post by LMM on 07/23/05 at 03:53:07 Well, curious what prices your seeing in your areas on the S40. Best advertised price I've seen around here is $3800.00 Haven't checked yet to see what the catch is. ;D I'm still trying to find a dealer worthy of my business. Any suggestions or recommendations for any dealers in northern IN, southern MI, northwest OH? Might even be tempted to go to Chicago, IL for the right deal. |

Title: Re: Prices (NEW) Post by red2k1 on 07/23/05 at 13:44:16 3,800 matches the best price that I have seen around here. 3,800 is just plus tax and license -- no bump-ups as shipping, assembly, administrative fees etc. |

Title: Re: Prices (NEW) Post by GregH on 07/23/05 at 18:03:34 Around here (Western PA) $4200 seems to be the going price, I paid $4000 for a left over 04 Savage back in April. Wish I could have got a S40 for $3800. Not may stealerships in my area so I guess they can ask what they want. |

Title: Re: Prices (NEW) Post by Frank on 07/24/05 at 19:38:26 One dealer in my area wanted MSRP. I found another dealer nearby that wanted $3850 plus tax, tag and title, about $4250 OTD. So I wouldn't have to drive too far he offered to trailer a black one and a white one to my house so I could decide which I liked more and work out the deal there. He also had a 4 year extended warranty for $350. I ended up buying the white one ;D |

Title: Re: Prices (NEW) Post by babbalou on 07/26/05 at 19:42:40 I wonder if it's a seasonal thing. Never thought about it before but I might have paid a little less in January than I did in July. :-/ |

Title: Re: Prices (NEW) Post by Karen627 on 07/26/05 at 23:55:24 Hmm. Bought my S40 in February, used -- 841 miles on it. Paid $4200, and thought it was a decent deal at the time. Of course, everyone around here charges MSRP plus fees, taxes, fee taxes, and pre-tax fees. And it did already have the 600 mile service done, and 9 months left on the warranty... ah, who am I kidding. I probably got hosed. I do remember seeing ads in Cycle Trader earlier this year for a dealer in Ohio charging $3800. And Frank, where is that dealer of yours? :o :) |

Title: Re: Prices (NEW) Post by CHRIS on 08/06/05 at 19:44:56 I'm buying a black 06' for $4193.00 out the door!!! That includes: tax, title, tags, set-up (doing that myself), doc. fee, etc. It really helps the price when you work for a Suzuki dealership. I'm just waiting for the ship to come in from overseas. Hopefully no more bombings to make them hold the containers at port!!!! like the last time the bombing in London happenend, customer had to wait an extra 2 weeks for the machine to be delivered. By the way, I'm not trying to gloat, just excited about getting it!!! |
