Title: Jardine Baffle REMOVED Post by savage777 on 10/13/05 at 23:06:52 I took the baffle out my muffler  ...... holy sh!t is it loud . I drilled out the two rivets that held the baffle in, and with a little tuggin and rubber mallet action it only took about 15 min to get out including R & I  of the muffler itself. I can't decide if I'm gonna put it back in or maybe take the packing off of the actual metal baffle itself and then reinstall it by itself.... it's awful loud especially on decel. It really cackles. The bike seems to run a little better but I know a little back pressure is good. I see a lot of bikes run wide open so we'll see. I don't think it will hurt the bike or performance... but as of this afternoon my bike just became a cop magnet for a noise violation...LOL
