Title: Rejettin
Post by Jim_R on 10/19/05 at 21:42:39

I noticed after all these air filter changes I have been doing my bike was kinda boggy.  After Torque took a spin he agreed.  We decided we needed to change the main jet and it worked.  I was using a 157.5 and we tried a 155 and half a white spacer.  It was better but still felt a slight hesitation in throttle response.  Luckily I foresaw this and bought a 152.5 and it worked awesome.  My gas mileage with the 157.5 sucked bad too lol.

now if only had nitrious...  Lancerrrrrrrrrrrrr hehe :)

That 152.5 in the '95 runs very well - it has a stock airbox and a fairly quite Jardine - the '02 liked to 155 better has had the snorkle removed and a very loud Jardine - new out of the box - no idea why the '95 is so much quiter - be fun to see a savage on nitrous - just not one I'm trying to keep running!
