hello to all,

I finally got my bike back today form the shop with my new supertrapp muffler on. Dang she's got some get up and go now, suprisingly it made a difference in performance and sounds like a monster too. Having a little trouble getting my idle right but i'll get it eventually.

Because there was an extension added (about 6 inches) i now need a heat sheild to cover up the weld to the header and the pipe. I have toyed with the idea of cutting a bigger pipe in half and having it re-chromed. If i was to buy the heat sheild from jcwitney it'll cost me a bundle cause of where i live.

Do you think I can make my own heat sheild?
