Title: Amperage? Post by mornhm on 11/17/05 at 13:27:11 What is the rating for the rectifier/regulator on the Savage? What is the normal current draw? I'm looking at heated clothing, and can't find this information on site. |

Title: Re: Amperage? Post by vroom1776 on 11/18/05 at 08:06:14 Nobody may know... Uh, when I asked a similar question regarding the ignition, Greg_650 said check the fuses, which I have not done yet. The rectifier can put out at elast 6 Amps, which would go to the headlight. I'm willing to bet the ignition will suck 20 A or so, but that's just a guess. |

Title: Re: Amperage? Post by Reelthing on 11/18/05 at 15:36:18 mornhm - nothing is listed in the suzuki service manual up though the '90 model as to capacity or normal draw - only the test points to check if it's working - so far as I can find. |

Title: Re: Amperage? Post by Mr 650 on 11/21/05 at 15:51:23 20 amps sounds high for the ignition, 20 A would be more like the total output. I suspect it is not much different than other midsize bikes, if memory serves it shares parts w/ the GS750. vroom1776 wrote:
