Title: re-jetting, idle-mixture & warranty?

If I start to mod my bike, how will it affect my warranty?

I guess you'd have to ask Suzuki about that, though one year isn't much of a warranty.  That said, it's also not long to wait if you decide not to mod during it.

There was a lot of discussion about this on the ISRA forum a while back.  The way many, but not all, warranties work is more or less like this:  If you rejet & pipe your bike, and your starter motor dies, for example, the starter is still under warranty.  On the other hand, If you rejet & pipe your bike incorrectly, let's say it is too lean, you you blow your engine, then the warranty won't cover it.

If You re-jet and re-pipe the bike and You have some real issues /whitch is highly improbable/ , You can always bring everything back to stock, before You have the dealer look at it. Just keep the old parts and don't file the spacer in the carb, but use small washers.
