Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know about a few site changes.

I am stepping down as a board moderator due to other commitments. As many of you have noticed, I haven't been around much recently. I still love my Savage, but my business has really been picking up and I have some additional extended family responsibilities that are eating up a lot of time.

I have throughly enjoyed this board and its members, and will continue to remain a member -- I just won't be a moderator. Thanks to each of you for making this board as strong as it is.

I feel fortunate that I am leaving the board in terrific hands! As you know, Savage_Rob joined me as a moderator earlier this year. It has been great to have him on board. And as you may have noticed, Sluggo has also agreed to be a moderator -- welcome and thanks Sluggo!

I couldn't figure out where to post this...here or in the Cafe! ::) I posted it here because it is board related which is Savage related... Anyway, thank you all for your support on the board. :) You are an great group of people.

Please join me in thanking Savage_Rob and welcoming Sluggo as a moderator!

I haven't been here that long but it's obvious that much of the strength of this board is because of you guys! Thanks Susan for everything.

With Savage_Rob and Sluggo at the helm we're in great hands!

I wanted to personally thank you for all your hard work over the last two years. I started this site a couple of years ago with a vision. That vision was to build a strong community of savage owners, "to one day become a valuable resource to others..." I believe we have achieved this vision and it would not have been possible without YOU.

Indeed, this site really couldn't be more useful, friendly, lively and entertaining -- and absolutely vital to those of us who are Suzuki Savage and S40 owners. Good work everybody!

It is a warm fuzzy feeling to have a site grow up to be a useful resource, to take on a life of it's own and become more than anything you could do all by yourself. You started it, added the moderators when it got big enough to require such.

But the ones who actually made this a worthwhile site are all of the posters from the not-yet-legal-to-be-served-alcohol to us fossils. The ones who show the vast range of possibilities that are inherent in the neglected "girl's bike" "beginner's bike" "you'll outgrow it in a few months" Savage.

My thanks go out to you for providing the resource and patiently waiting for it to grow, the moderators for accepting their thankless task, and especially all of the posters who have contributed, even by as much as a single message, to the unusually friendly community that has grown here.

yeah,you know this site is pretty special when people talk about motorcycles and their personal problems also,and it couldn't have gotten that way without the moderators,thanks a billion :-*

Kudos to sluggo ... I always knew that beneath that rough, rebelious exterior beat the heart of a mild-mannered Moderator! ;) Way to go man!

I don't post alot, but I do visit almost daily, thanks to all for the great info. and interesting reads, Susan you have been the level head in the bunch when all but seemed lost, Savage Rob I thank you for your continued efforts, and Sluggo, are you Nuts, never mind I know that answer, I do visit daily like I said! Congrats Sluggo. Have fun, after all ain't that what's it all about. ;D
