There is an article in the April 2006 "Motorcycle Cruiser" magazine that talks about the longevity of some cruisers - the article is called "Comparison - These are a few of Our Favorite Things". The subtitle is"Seven remarkable mainstream cruisers that have more than stood the test of time". It includes Suzuki S40/Savage, Suzuki S50/Intruder 800, Suzuki S83/Intruder 1400, 2 Hondas and 2 Kawsakis. Under the S40 review they list "model-specific websites, and list SuzukiSavage.com as well as SuzukiSavageClub.nl.

The review of the S40 is positive and tells us what we already know - the bike needs a tripmeter!

Ironic that it took 20 years for our fave 'lil Thumper to finally get the regonition and respect it deserves!
I'll be on the look-out for that mag when it hits the newstands up here!
