Okay, since others are sharing...

Rob (my stepson) called last nuight and wanted to work on the Savage today. Finally. So, we did. Didn't get much accomplished, but, it's a start.

Oh, if you like shiney bikes, don't proceed any farther...

Tank is now flat black in Hammerite to seal the metal. See the new fender in progress? Cutting down an aftermarket HD FXR rear. Going to run the cateye that is on the seat, but use an old Triumph type mount for it and the plate. 8)

Yep, three bikes. The Savage has 14 inch bars, the blue Intruder has 10 inch bars, the black bike peeking around the tailend has stock buckhorns. Yuck. I hate low handlebars. :'(

I ride 5-7 days a week. I don't have time to wash and wax the bike. Told you not to look if you like shiney bikes... ;D

Ya got that right WD ... this time of the year I live vicariously thru 'em ... spring is takin' it's time out here in the North Atlantic :(

They r all cool. Like the ape hangers. How are they on such a light bike? Not to bad?

I still have some mods to do on mine and it's already dirty, they r meant to be ridden!!! 8)

Saw a dude with a 67 BSA yesterday, it was almost all chrome even half of the gas tank and it was spotless! :o He said he spends an hour detailing it every time he takes it out. I admire him and pity him at the same time.
