Title: Which Screamin Eagle???? Post by olscout99 on 05/18/06 at 06:12:29 For the guys that have used the Screamin Eagle muffler from a Harley...is there a certain type or model that works/sounds better than others? There are a ton on Ebay right now at decent prices, there are turnouts, slash tips, tapered.....any one better sounding than another? I'm ready to jump and buy one, and I only wanna do it once......thx!

Post by azjay on 05/18/06 at 06:27:29 that is a very subjective question. i personally like loud pipes, others do not. i have a 17" straight thru muffler from a dyna/sportster on my wifes savage and love it, i can occasionally hear her bike over my thunderheadered harley. i would guess that the screamin eagles will all sound about the same, i considered the turn out, so that i could share the thumper with the unobservant cages, and keep the exhaust off the rear wheel and brake
