Well, owing to several downward turns of fortune I had to pawn my Savage and now am about to lose it because I can't afford to get it out of hock.

I am not happy about this, actually I am very angry about this. But once my fortunes improve you better believe i am going to start looking for another one. I loved that bike.

Sad to hear that man :( When your situation improves, get yourself the newer S40 version ... same Bike, but cleaner lines and better ergos!

What's worse, I just stepped outside to have a smoke and noticed someone has stolen my leather saddlebags that I had removed before hocking my bike. If I ever find out who did it they are in for a huge sh@$ load of trouble.

Just called the pawn shop that has my bike. Made arrangements to pay interest next week so I don't lose bike. *whew, wipes sweat from forehead** Dodged a bullet on that one.

Good to hear. Usually the pawn broakers will let your stuff stay with them indefinatly as long as you pay the intrest every month. Bad idea for a TV, but pretty d@mn good idea for your bike. Unless you leave it in long enough to buy a new one with the intrest you paid.

I'd have given my tv and my grandma's old engagement ring as a trade to get the bike back. But then again, my grandma and I didn't have a good relationship... :o
