Title: crankcase vent Post by cyclenut73 on 07/01/06 at 02:07:13 okay... i got rid of my airbox and put on a pod filter the other day. love the way it looks and the sound of air being sucked through it when i rev the bike, but what do i do with the crankcase vent hose now? just leave it hanging? can i cut it off some so its not just hanging around? i'm sure this has been addressed somewhere in here but i never have any luck finding stuff. |

Title: Re: crankcase vent Post by blackiex on 07/01/06 at 02:52:02 Hello, I guess you should put a small filter on it, and fix the hose to the chassis under the tank or beside your new pod filter. I saw a picture somewhere around the web (maybe on this forum) where this solution was made. No dust should get into the crankcase and it must breathe, so try to do so. |

Title: Re: crankcase vent Post by Ed_L. on 07/01/06 at 16:16:47 Get a inline fuel filter and stick it in the end of the tube for venting. Ty wrap that end up high on the frame so oil won't drip out. Keep it simple, ;D |
