I'd like to put a solo seat on my s40. Seems to me the easiest way would be to use a savage seat. Is this possible? Is there any other solo seats out there that look good without too much modification involved?

Anything other than a Savage seat will require mod's, that is just the way things are. Some require more and others less.

I was planning on replacing the stock seat on my '96 with a one piece very soon ... would you like to trade? My seat is in excellent condition. I would even throw in something else if you like. What would you like? Have you rejetted you carb? I have an assortment of used parts and have access to a lot new parts from the stuff I sell. So if there is something specific you were thinking of doing on your bike ... ?? ;)

I'd like to keep my stock seat, but thanks for the info. If you find the seat you are looking for and decide to sell you savage seat, let me know.
