Title: Highway Bars
Post by mavrik on 09/30/06 at 19:40:48

Hello: I am very interested for info on highway bars. I'm 6 feet, will they work for me without forward controls? and with your weight distributed differently does this increase/decrease stabilty? Thanks also what is an approximate cost. Cheers love this site

i dont know yet, debby's are on order, they should be here any day, i'll let you know how my 5'9" frame works with them. weight shift typically isn't enough to change the bike's handling, as most of our weight remains in the middle.

Highway Hawk makes bolt on forward controls for the savage, but they are a bit pricey.  If you had the extra leg room with forward controls, you may not need to worry with highway bars.

there are some used highway bars on ebay right now. The auction just started. I got mine off of ebay and paid 96 dollars including shipping. Alot cheaper than new
