I swear my bike looks better now that I've replaced the cam chain.

It doe's, Like mine rides better just after an oil change.

For 2 days after an oil change mine morphs into a GSXR 750 when no ones around. As soon as anyone comes into view, POOF, back she goes. Your mileage may vary.

It does seem to work like that for some reason. I know back in high school days STP stickers made my car go faster.

i'm gonna have to agree with you on this one.  my Vdub gti does something like this, too.  it turns into an R32, i swear!

i also think that my savage started riding smoother after i put the duct tape on the rear turn signals.  i think everything runs better with a little duct tape on it.  anyone else notice this phenomenon??

The electrical tape holding my left rear turn signal together really made a difference, the bike turned into a rocket overnight ;D.

At this point if this was a "Fishermans forum" I would declare ALL of you guys liars. Natcherly, since I KNOW me & the crap,, Uh things I say, I  know I am always completely truthful. OHH & sincere, don't wanna forget sincere.. snicker snicker
It's under 30 degrees. We have had over 6 inches rain in the last few days, a pond on the property north was holding about an inch or 2, now has been overflowing for the last couple days. My trash pit isn't a trash pit anymore. It's flooded. So, I am not riding. I am sitting here pretending I am a tabloid writer, making up lies to entertain myself. I am in East Tx, for any who might wonder where the weather has been..

don't know about a bike running faster after an oil change, but I know every bike I've owned does after a good clean & polish.

justin_o_guy,
I just talked to my sister who lives in Bandera and she said it finally turned into freezing rain. I told her that's what she got for telling me how nice it was around Christmas. We just got 7" of snow here in Michigan with a low of 7 degrees last night and a high of 19 today. Don't worry, I know you will be riding way before I will.

It must have less air resistance now that the dirt is gone... oh and it's lighter too. Yeah that's it :)

My husband once received a plaque saying "all fishermen are liars except you & me & sometimes I ain't so sure about you"
Did Lake Fork come up at all, Jr. had planned a trip there this weekend but they are now saying more sleet & ice for the weekend. It's still about 32' here, snow on the fields but the roads are mostly clear.

Funny, mine's the opposite.  After I've worked up a good layer of road grime, my bike becomes unstoppable and will readily plough through any sort road conditions (including a few times I've been forced off the road to avoid becoming a hood ornament).  I think the grime sticks to the tires, turning them into knobbies...
