Howdy, I'm new to this forum, I tried searching but I couldn't find an answer, hopefully this hasn't been asked a million times before.. :)

I have a '06 S40/Savage, and am looking for a good repair/shop manual for it. I can't find anything that claims to go beyond 2004. Is the 2004 manual the same as for the 2006? Are there any differences that anybody can think of between the 2004 model and 2006 model?

Welcome aboard;

I have an 05 S40 and been using 04 manual. So far all general specifications and how-to instruction to services are the same.

I tried to get a manual for my 05 when I bought it. Apparently, they dont make the current model year available to consumers for quite a while. Just order the thing & we will give you info out of the ones we have till it comes in. My 05 stuff is the same as most, there are some carb & tranny changes thru the years, but most everything stays the same.,
All the tune up stuff & general maintenance is constant. You can get that here.

The Official 1987-2007 Suzuki LS650 S40 Factory Service Manual (http://www.repairmanual.com/motorcycles/2007/62/0/19429/15840) appears to be backordered.
