I made these a couple of weeks ago. I don't like most floor boards, but these really made the bike more comfortable. I have'nt ground them on the pavement yet, and they still retain the bikes decent lean angle. The only thing that had to be changed was the shifter adjustment, so I could get my foot under it.

I like. But you wouldn't want to roll the bike into an ankle....

I don't know if they'd help a lot with 500 lbs and those teeth.....if it didn't do any damamge I know I'd have to change my inderwear!
