How important is that Screen in the upper head cover for the crank case vent?

Helps create a restriction which helps keep some of the oil vapors in the engine rather than in the air-box.   Also saw somewhere here that it help condensate the oil also keeping it in the engine.

Thanks.  I guess I'll take the upper head off---Again---- and put the screen in. It's too bad too. I sealed it up sooo pretty.

Do you think that Suzuki put something in that has NO purpose??

To save a buck in production they will delete anything that's not neccessary.
