Title: finally bought one Post by hdblueangel on 06/10/08 at 20:53:13 ::)After a couple of months of going crazy looking at different makes, I finally bought a 2007 S40. It has a little over 3,000 miles, a windshield, engine guards and a sissy bar and little luggage rack. I got it for $4,200 out the door. It's black and I didn't notice and dings or dents. The tires look new too. Do you think I got a good deal? Guess I should order a t-shirt. too bad i can't get the one with the guy with the bloody nose hd |

Title: Re: finally bought one Post by Jerry Eichenberger on 06/11/08 at 07:08:54 Not a bad deal - I paid $3150 for a 2006 with 2100 miles, factory windshield, backrest, and saddle bags. After market Sportster muffler. Any one can get a "better deal" I suppose than he got, but what's your time worth, and what are you missing while you search and seek trying to save a couple of hundred bucks? Enjoy your ride - that's why you bought it. |

Title: Re: finally bought one Post by hdblueangel on 06/11/08 at 14:28:19 Rode it home today and got my first 'hi, how are you' from a passing motorist who told me move my piece of &%$* over to the right lane. Actually, I was keeping up with traffic and was in the left lane because I was going to make a left soon. thanks for all of your responses. I feel ok about the price. the bike is in perfect condition without a mark on it. I would like to give it a little more pep, so what do I have to do, change the exhaust and reject? I also need a 2007 owners manual. any suggestions on that? the store wants something like $25. hd |
