Toymaker,  it's 5:00 Sunday and nary not a one of them elusive "meet ya there's" have responded.

I do believe there aren't any -- they have all done evaporated on us.

....  we four are on our own.

See you Friday around 4-5 PM

Just don't become the "eight draggin' ears."  Keep the rubber sides down and the shiny sides up, guys.  And get some good pictures for me.  If I'm going to convince Kay that it is necessary for me to ride thousands of miles in order to ride thirty miles next year, I'm going to need lots of backup.

Have fun for me.  Wish I could go.

Wanna start a next year list? ;)

Ya know someone could be there early Saturday morning waiting on you guys. Its hard to miss a Savage, when looking for them ;)

I'm talking about the ones who said they'd meet ya'll up there.

I'm inviting Bikemom to ride the Cherohola Pwky this year with me...when I get to feeling better!
Hey we live pretty close to there, close enough to go anytime 8-) ;)

Their job to find us, we are the ones wearing the colorful white dragon shirts and are easily identified as "the group".  Officially, we aren't looking for anyone since no-one responded.  If we do find someone, it will be an all positive sorta thing, I am sure.

I'm gonna get my shirt stamped by the girl behind the register with their return address stamp -- mine will be a REAL Deal's Gap dragon shirt then, certified as authentic.

As far as bleeding goes, it is never planned by the ones to which it happens but it does exist in the turf up there inside them nasty curvy mountain roads.

Along with the deer and the mac trucks, WHAM simply happens.  Quick like, too.  Then the other 3 will apply the patches and consolation.

WHAM happens every single weekend on the Dragon, without fail.  Deaths have become more rare since the cops patrol the road constantly enforcing the 30mph speed limit with industrial strength tickets.

But road rash is catching on the Dragon, every day somebody catches them a minor case of it.

Hey guys have a blast up there.  I really wish i could go. only about a 6 hr journey for me. Im in Beaufort Sc. so not far at all.  Work has me tied up this weekend, and I just got my thumper a few weeks ago, Brand new shiney 08 model.  Just turned 400 miles. So it is best i skip it this year and get some experience for next year.  I rode most of my child hood on dirt bikes, but havnt rode much in the last few years till now.  It has been just like riding a bike. Hopped on and took right off. So im not quite a newbie rider.  Just would like take a little more time and get a really good feel for the bike.  Any way You guys have a blast and keep it safe . looking forward to next year..   l8terzz Jeff
