I did a quick search on the forum and I cant find the best place to buy parts for my savage. I'm looking for some front brake pads for my bike. Anyone recommend a particular place? Thanks!

I typed in my info (2003) Suzuki Savage and the brake pads it recommended look nothing like what I have on my bike.

The picture is only representative of A brake pad, not necessarily THE brake pads you are buying.

and look at the FA106 pads.
If still not sure do the "Fit my Machine" thing

i bought some pads from JCW. The ones they have listed for the savage did not fit. They were the hockey puck looking ones. I called customer service and she lookeed them up and said that was the only set they had listed for my bike. She also told me that they will definitely NOT fit my bike. I got a full refund including shipping and return shipping. I went to the stealership and got a set of aftermarket pads for less money than the JCW ones.

Bikebandit.com calls them "6006775-001 EBC Organic" if you're looking for the EBC Red organic ones. These http://www.bikebandit.com/product/10832?m=16950 are the ones I ordered.

I've got almost 300 miles on them and they're much, much better than the OEMS.

There is no one best place.

If I need it now I have six Suzuki dealers within 15 miles, more than 20 within 50 miles. BikeBandit is in San Diego and shipments usually arrive the next day. Dennis Kirk tells you if an item is in stock, and if it is it ships same day. Price vary considerably between suppliers and with time, not to mention shipping and tax.

And if you are not in a hurry you can get fantastic bargains on eBay -- I got a rear wheel with near new tire for $39 delivered, and a heavily chromed billet 7" headlamp complete for $40 delivered.

I would like to recommend Oneida Suzuki, they have competitive prices and Great customer service.
