Title: rear signals always on? Post by il67bp on 10/26/08 at 18:26:37 im getting my bike inspected tomorrow and i was wondering if my rear signals should always be on like the front ones, like running lights, thanks for your help |

I was wondering the same think on friday, so i removed the bulb covers and realized the rear lights are single element. i.e either on or off. Pip jones |

You're done! Now, for the really nice bit... Double wire it so that the dim filaments actually pulse when the t/s isn't on... |

Why? You clutch it when starting, so no need to be in neutral. If you want to be in neutral a little rocking back/forth will let you know you are in gear. Once running a little slip of the clutch will tell you what gear, if any, you are in. The neutral light is redundant. Not to mention that it can be lit when you are in gear and is thus also not reliable. I have no use for the neutral light. |
