+1[/quote] I remember seeing his post awhile ago about his battery. If you look under the seat, there's a chrome tray that sticks out a little bit? The battery is in there. |

"+1" means "me too", as in "I wanna know too", "I agree as well", "I was thinking/wondering the same thing". |

Ok next question...what did YOU use for an airfilter? |

Title: Re: my chopper from Bulgaria Post by dasch on 04/10/09 at 08:55:37 Aaaa, "plus one". I see. Airfilter is a K&N 1350 I think. Not sure about the #. |
|
Title: Re: my chopper from Bulgaria Post by dasch on 04/10/09 at 08:57:26 1250 K&N, just checked |

Thanks :) Do you notice any "air issues"? I'm sure the carb is moded and tuned as well. |

Title: Re: my chopper from Bulgaria Post by dasch on 04/10/09 at 10:31:58 Oh yeah. It had to be. After install it surged, popped, backfired... I put this large ID HD muffler too at the same time. Anyhow - it took larger idle jet, larger main jet and needle rise to get it to run right. I am still in the finetuning phase, but it seems close to perfect now. I might just claim victory on that one :-) The sound it makes when it "breathes" is peculiar, though. It inhales with a loud "clap" now. I had no clue intake can be so audible. |
