Speaking of cute songs.
Down at the local music shop, my copy of Thompsons CD came in so now I have my own copy of "Vincent 52" as was played here in an earlier post. It is great with the good quality of sound that my laptop just couldn't play. That was the only biker song on the disc but all the rest of it was good too.
The style is like old time rock and roll with a celtic influence that ranges from mild to heavy. Altogether very enjoyable and worth the 13 dollars.
There were many artists who have recorded this song, but Thompson is the guy who wrote it and I wanted that. He sings it as if he personally knew the characters in the story and that is what make a good ballad.
