Stuck in Traffic ... mother's worry ... She understands that I know *did* to ride. So she allowed a small ride back in forth on the right street. It was just five minutes, but I was riding. Felt good. I have nothing missing. (Oil level good, air needed the air compressor.) I *THINK* that I am up to riding. Wendy worrys. I am now have "anticoagulation therapy" -- to help against another stroke. But I know is easily bruised, if I happen to drop when a small motorcycle fall. And she is worried that people may have a problem against my Aphasia. My friends know that it is *only* a language problem and not an intelligence problem. I don't know why, cause it isn't the full moon, but the past days in Wendy in the cage has observed the traffic -- people putting stopping into the lane, left traveling to the right change, even normal than usual So. Cal. traffic. It is a game, me versus them, seeing if they are better then hitting that me. |

For this past week, I don't know if there's something in the water or what's going on. Even for Los Angeles, there seems to be more insanity out there on the road. Whether on the freeway, or on surface streets, we've seen an increase in sudden lane changes, cars suddenly swooping across all lanes of traffic, tailgating, etc. We even saw a motorcycle cop, on the freeway, almost get sideswiped by a car making a sudden lane change. Maybe it's because summer is right around the corner? Phase of the moon? I don't know. |
