For the one's of us who have lost their Dad's then maybe take a few mins and remember without him you would not be here... So have that special sleep in day, bar b q, or possibly go for a nice ride and posts the story and pictures. |
Title: Re: Father's Day Post by babyhog on 06/18/10 at 06:24:34 +1 Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there. I have lost all my fathers. Biological (2007), Step-father (2005), father-in-law (2009), and even my ex-husband's father died this year. Grandfathers are all gone too. I miss them all!! Took a ride to the cemetaries on Memorial Day, may do it again on Father's Day, but I'll let Hubby decided what he wants to do. |

Title: Re: Father's Day Post by Midnightrider on 06/20/10 at 06:35:52 Here's the cake Ms Midnight made me for Fathers Day. She doesnt bake cakes, she builds them. Everything on the cake is edible and yes I love to grill out. http://i356.photobucket.com/albums/oo2/mwshelton/100_0861.jpg She has been wanting an airbrush. The local Hobby Shop had a 25% off sale yesterday so I bought her an airbrush outfit. She will now start airbrushing her cakes, cant wait to see how they turn out. |
Title: Re: Father's Day Post by justin_o_guy2 on 06/20/10 at 08:00:08 Wow,, thats cool! We sometimes watch "Ace of Cakes". They build sports stadiums, cameras, Football Helmets, all kinds of stuff, then people eat them. |

WoW ! an airbrush, thats fantastic if the Mrs learns to use that properly I can see flames painted on your bikes and cars, they must be fun. I was going to buy one ,but I wouldn't buy one without getting some instructions, and the little art store did not give instructions. Happy fathers day Midnight. |

Title: Re: Father's Day Post by Southpaw on 06/20/10 at 16:47:34 Great props to my own Dad, may he rest in peace. I know of no profession more noble than being a good father and passing good values and support to your family! We may not have had everything, but there never was a time I doubted my security or worth, and he was always there for us. That, my friends, is an example worth following! Happy Fathers Day to all of you out there. Your kids should think you're the greatest thing since sliced bread, and they should be right!!! ;) |

Title: Re: Father's Day Post by Starlifter on 06/21/10 at 04:54:42 Love my kitty cats.... No children, (yuck,) but the kitties left me the most marviouls hair-ball. And my big guy Beau brought me the most wonderful rat this morning! (dead)... Aww, they are so sweet. :D |
Title: Re: Father's Day Post by prsavage on 06/21/10 at 09:33:57 Mick, I do remember hearing sweet fanny adams but not often. I am Canadian but Grandpa was a Scot and Grandma was English. They emmigrated to Canada before WW I. I had actually forgotten that term for SFA. |

Title: Re: Father's Day Post by earlytimz on 06/21/10 at 20:53:39 My 4 yr old said he was getting me a new phone and a new camera for father's day. I thought that was pretty sweet since my old ones are one and the same right now. Well, he didn't come through with the gifts but all I really wanted was to hear those 3 words. I got 'em yesterday morning & I'm good to go! :D Lost my dad 7 1/2 years ago at 54. Still miss him to this day... |
