Title: Helmet stickers
Post by babyhog on 06/21/10 at 10:12:20

I just bought my first helmet sticker.  It says FOR SOME THERE'S THERAPY, FOR THE REST OF US THERE'S MOTORCYCLES.

I've always said riding is like therapy.  Takes all my troubles away and takes me to a different place.... at least while I'm riding.

A friend at work has one that says "I still miss my Ex, but my aim is improving"

We've touched on them in a few threads, so I wondered if anyone would like to share what they have, or what they've seen, love 'em, hate 'em, whatever....

Okay, they are crude, but you asked for it... My multiple helmets have the following, and others, even stranger...

I scare my own family
Veterans F'D by Washington (uncensored)
Born on a mountain raised in a cave, motorcycles and F'ng is all I crave (uncensored)
Bikers have more fun than people do
DILLIGAF (Does it look like I give a F***)
Vagitarian
Support your local Biker (Hell's Angels colors)
Helmet worn under protest
I don't suffer from mental illness I enjoy every moment of it
Silly yuppie trailers are for boats
If you are what you eat I could be you by morning

I could go on...

Only 3 of my half-shells have stickers, 2 half-shells are plain black, one 3/4 shell is plain red (with police riot flip face plate), one 3/4 shell is black and green with gold stiping to match the Honda, both WW2 era soft helmets still need patches.

Lisa's best helmet sticker says: If it has a kickstand or a d*** I can ride it (uncensored).

I know, I know, I'm resurrecting a dead post, but I'm still catching up on old stuff from when I was on vacation. ::)
Finally broke down and got my first sticker:
"Get your own sticker
and stop reading mine."
:)

I have a white 3/4 helmet and the first time I carried it in WalMart they stuck a smiley on the back and I left it on there. That's been over 2 years ago and they have stopped using the smiley stickers on the returns.

Yeah, I seriously need that one too.  I've got about 6" or better of ponytail, and put a bunch of ties on it when riding, but that doesn't always keep it all reined in.  Been sporting the 1/2 helmet around town, since it's nice, and walking into the store yesterday I got a gander at my reflection in the window, yikes! :o  Hair everywhere! ;D

If you want to put a larger square sticker like that on the curved surface of a helmet, you can carefully make a few cuts around the edges of the sticker and they will overlap and make the sticker lay flat.

I have an MIA POW "You are not forgotten" sticker and a "Vietnam Veteran" sticker. Other helmet has "If you can remember the 60's you weren't there."

Did you ever see the black tee shirt on a rider with white letters on the back that say "If you can read this the pregnant dog fell off." ;D

I love the one about the 60's!!!  Too good.

There are also shirts that say "This b!tch don't fall off"  and "This b!tch rides her own"
