Wow...the guys at dodge must have been bored. I dont think anyone can deny that they plainly designed a car to specifically look as if it were being driven backward.

Dodge Deora, built by the Alexander Brothers in 1967. Made from a stock A100 pickup, entirely of steel, fully functional. Dodge bought the rights to it and used it for promotions.

What can I say, I've been a Dodge guy since birth. Still have my Grampa's 1949 1/2 ton pickup.

Gauges in the door and center console are even dumber than in the gas tank of a motorcycle.  Aren't you glad this future never came to be?

It didn't have doors, you had to get in from the front. The wheel swings out of the way.

I like that gauge layout better than in any tuner car I've had the displeasure of being near. Including my wife's Celica (soon to have a V8...)

Got to agree, tank top gauges are pretty lame. A lot quieter than FX/XL or Suzuki VS though, at least stock LS gauge won't buzz in a chrome cup and be amplified by a windshield.

I was wondering how you got into the thing...

looks like the windshield and top should go up and the front drop down as a step.

at least the front should swing open so the passenger could get in.

What really sucks is I used to have a MINT Match Box of that.

I thought that was one of George Bariss's customs.  I know he built a lot of stuff like that. 8-)
