Seat belts are tested under a control environment,Accidents are not.I like airbags.

Sure they are. Airbags are also tested under control environment! How else? Not like they test safety mechanisms in a REAL environment, right?

Do this a few times & you'll really learn that the seat belts in your street car are a joke. Nothing holds you in place like a good 5 point harness.
