When chrome tries to reflect chrome,... it gets nothing...

...bet it makes great toast though... :-?...

IMO that is way too much.. I like a clean bike however, I would rather spend my time riding than shinning all the chrome..

Wow, can you imagine the glare/reflection off that baby?  Aside from the fact that I dont like it, if you are gonna ride that better have a really good pair of sunglasses.

Chrome doesn't get you home. Looks good if it is a show bike and not ridden daily. I'm thinking that a welding helmet might be needed on a sunny day.  ;D

That Savage looks more like it was done in "chrome" paint instead of stripped and dipped.

A chromed out Evolution engine? Why? The first mostly oil tight engine from HD, and they chrome it? Gaskets won't seat in properly on that garbage...

As for the XS650, ought as well chrome the tank, they shipped with shiny fenders.

I can dig the Yammy, but the Savage looks like crap to me. As WD noted, the fenders arent looking like the tank & tins. Looks pretty yukkers to me, but I think it would look lousy even IF the fenders matched the tank. At least the yammy has a black frame & pipe wraps for some contrast.
I've heard chrome makes gasket sealing hard. Ive seen those chrome thermostat housings for pretty cheap at the parts store & thot about it, but when I start thinking about the potential for a water leak, I change my mind.

I've seen the chromed savage before, but didn't notice the fenders.  I agree with WD, looks like chrome paint.  Nice attention to detail, man!
