Title: Looks like the Love for their people Post by justin_o_guy2 on 07/28/10 at 07:50:17 Does know a few boundaries. Theyre GONNA have to ration care, its just that simple. If youre too old to be a valueable, contributing member of society ( read, pay more taxes than you cost) you wont be getting the services. Just like a business on the brink of collapse, they MUST cut the deadwood, if they are to survive, & so it is with countries. Everyone here can understand personal bankruptcy, but, somehow, they seem to believe that a country can spend more than it takes in & NOT go broke,, well, it aint so. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/7908742/Axe-falls-on-NHS-services.html Mick,, dont cry. |
Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by Serowbot on 07/28/10 at 09:42:35 There's rationing here now,... The HMO's do it... Stephen Hawking has said, he wouldn't be alive today if he didn't live in England... HMO's would have let him die... |
Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by Stimpy on 07/28/10 at 11:17:59 ...it's getting preeetty bad here is europe as well, but people don't see it yet, everyone thinks we're just going through an 'economic hicup'; fools. - Austria's budget has been 60% reduced and many hospitals, schools and services will close. - 100% of germany's tax revenue will be used for the next few years to pay up greece's bailout (did anyone hear that greece is buying submarines with this money! wtf? ) - Spain & Portugal's bubble is about to burst too. - Italy seriously wants to split in to 2 countries, north and south. - UK's major problem right now is the abuse of the social benefits system, by britts and immigrants alike, it's out of control and it shows. Still, everyone here is as arrogant, clueless and selfcentered as always, oh yeah, we're doomed over here too ::) http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/1840/endofanera.jpg |

why would I cry ? Sounds to me like they are cutting and trimming were they can ,do you remember when Ronald Reagan closed down ALL mentle health facilities, here in the good old USA with one fell swoop he created thousands more homeless, and these homeless were also crazy, good move American non health sirvice. Great Britain are having problems but they will work it out.unlike the US who just don't give a sh1t. Last month my Dad died in a cold anticeptic nursing home, I know for a fact he would much rather die at home, good idea UK most people would much rather die at home, you should try it Justin. :) |

Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by BurnPgh on 07/29/10 at 22:26:57 Mick, you've been unusually p!ssy lately. I assume its the lack of riding. Phelonius met a rider with one hand IIRC. If that lady can ride with one hand you can ride with a lame hand. I suggest you figure something out before you get too bitter to appreciate what you do have. |

good idea burn, I might be more pissy of late because I lost my father a few weeks ago. The lady that phelonius showed had a bum right hand, mine is the left hand. It will not close into a fist or any where near it,so I cannot grip the handle bars, I cannot pull in the clutch,I am still working it and there is still a chance it could improve, the doc said I have to give it 18 months, it's only been 10 months and I do see a little more movement. Burn ,I am very happy with my Miata ,I still sigh when I see a bike go by , But 9 times out of ten I am way older that the rider ,and I know I have done way more riding than he has, so I let it go,and hope for the best, I just hope the guy that passed me stays safe so he can ride as long as I did and enjoy it as much. One day you guys will all look back and thank your lucky stars you chose to ride motorcycles, there really isen't anything quite like it,it doesn't matter what bike you are on ,from a 125cc to a giant honda, it is still two wheels an engine and you,you will all look back and remember the smell of your own bike, your bike will have all it's own little things that make it different from any other bike..you made it yours by adding a different exhaust system, bigger jets, chain drive, you name it ,bikes are just plain fun,you all know they are a little more dangerouse than a cage, but like old saying goes , Driving a car is like watching a movie, When you ride your bike "You are in the movie" . Remember while riding along the highway most car drivers envy you ,the rest are asleep. Goodnight folks, Mick |

Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by mick on 07/30/10 at 12:52:33 I see justin you get your british news from the daily telegraph, that would be on a par with the national inquirer, Fortunatly I still have family over there so when I doubt your information ,whitch is very often,I just pick up the phone and ask ,"What in the puck is going on?" that way I get the correct news. FYI,also avoid the "Daily Mirror" "News of the world" that is a Sunday only paper. the best paper is "The London Times" The sky is not falling, you can take off your foil hat now. |
Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by justin_o_guy2 on 07/30/10 at 15:04:23 Well, clue me in, what IS going on? No shortage of operations? |
Title: facts Post by Stimpy on 07/31/10 at 05:18:28 ...The sky is not falling As always I choose to remain neutral in any controversial topic here in the forum but, tin-hats aside, let's just stick to the facts: - The sky IS falling for a lot of people everywhere; and these are not lazy 'social pests' but hard working folks that lost everything (including their health) because of perfectly legal corporate scams. - The codex alimentarius is alive and well and running like clockwork with results already showing in the form of 30 year olds with heart attacks, all forms of cancer cases sharply rising, general life expectancy actually decreasing, as well as IQ, and male sterility cases as never been seen before. - I don't even want to go into the effects of everyday chemical exposure and the resulting dna mutations and physical and mental illneses. - also 1/2 of the US are officialy junkies: 'according data just released by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) showing that at least half of all Americans takes at least one prescription drug, with one in six taking three or more medications.' - ...and what do the trends and statistics point to as THE disease of the 21 century? No, surprisingly not obesity but rather depression and other related mental illneses, this is just crazy! - In the US alone a record 2.8 million properties with a mortgage got a foreclosure notice in 2009, jumping 21 percent from 2008 and 120% from 2007 and the 2010 trend points to 4 million cases!! - Aspartame (nutrasweet), chemtrails, fluoride, fake enemies and threats along with innecessary wars and huge goverment mafias are NO LONGER silly theories but COLD HARD FACTS, reaserch it yourself if you wish. I can go on and on and on with many examples but I hope you all now choose to see that things are not ok, or at least simply open yourselves up to the possibility that there's really more out there that meets the eye, and that it is everyones duty to do something about it. Right now many of us are fighting the battle of our lives in the form of fighting ourselves and the programming and bad habits we have willingly or unwillingly adquired over a lifetime, and as a by-product comes a behaviour that may seem odd to the eyes of many but if this is the price to pay in order to become human once again, so be it. So my humble advice to all is to stop judging others and start analizing oneself and simply focus on becoming the change we wish to see in others and the world. Peace, over and out, Richard |

Why? Because if they see us thru eyes that arent filled with disdain, they have to ask themselves WHYare those reasonably intelligent people doing what theyare doing? I know I donjt present myself as a fool, but some here are so afraid to face the things I talk about, that they pretend I am, just so they dont have to look at what Im talking about. the space bar just isnt working right, |

Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by mick on 07/31/10 at 22:59:06 great post Stimpy, I see you post from Germany, are you German ? or an American posted in Germany ?. What is your take on health care ? most here ,well at least the republicans think we should not have any, I bet they are the ones who have some kind of coverage through there job. Those jobs are far and few between any more, it seems the word "Socialized" puts the fear of god into them ,it's just a freaking word,it will not hurt any one. We already have socialized mail service, miltary, fire deparments, and social security, medicare, but the most important one of all ,"HEALTH CARE FOR EVERY ONE" Scares the living heck out of em, Any idea why Stimpy ? |
Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by justin_o_guy2 on 08/01/10 at 00:57:47 I bet they are the ones who have some kind of coverage through there job Wrong.. & , we didnt GET Health Care for everybody, we got a mandate from the goobs to buy insurance., |

Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by Stimpy on 08/01/10 at 11:05:19 I live in Germany but am not German, not with the armed forces either, I'm here cause of the wifey. I grew up in San Diego, CA till i was 18, then went away to school and started traveling and moving around. My family/bloodline is kinda complicated but it involves (in 3 equal parts): - San Antonio, Tx. - Leon, Spain. - Mexico City. What is my opinion of the current socialized healthcare system?? ...well, it's a hell of a lot like letting BP be in charge of cleaning up their own mess. Coverage through there job. Those jobs are far and few between any more. jeez, tell me about it!! I'm privately insured over here (by now it's mandatory), that comes to around €1,600/year ($2000usd) for the both of us, plus another $100 for the dog ::) And THIS is the reason why I'm savageless right now (f"§$%&/*g pack of thieves!). >:( |

Wow$2000 a year for both of you, that is cheap ,what's that like $160 per month ? I am on medicare and I pay $202 a month, just me. you are lucky hang on to that. Peaple in this country would love to pay that little. You must have been away a long time. I thought Germany had health care for all ? or is that it ? if so it's about the same as the UK, and Europe. But most Americans don't want health care, don't ask me why. |
Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by WebsterMark on 08/01/10 at 18:55:37 nonsense Mick. Most Americans want healthcare. Now, many are opposed to what was just passed because we don't believe it is actually about healthcare. It's like stem cell research. It's always stated conservatives are against stem cell research: not true. Conservatives may be against embryonic stem cell research, but not stem cell research. two vastly different things. |
Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by bill67 on 08/01/10 at 19:01:01 I think stem cell is the greatest thing going,Some day they will be able to make another GWB,Late night TV ain't what it used to be without him. |

Odd that every move that Obama made toward health care the republicans shot him down in flames. It's the cost they keep saying, oh ! my word the cost, the cost, Another oddity no one seems to give a sh1t about the cost of the war, well over a billion a month, they could give every one in the US free health care ,just stop spending money on war. But as some one else said on this forum this country would go belly up without wars ,was that you Justin?. If these two wars started dying down believe me they would start another one real quick,we cant survive without em,what a country, only in America. |

Heck no , Mick, not me. Im wanting to pare down the "defense" budget, bring them home. I am against the military industrial complex & the Big Pharma bunch, too. Ive never believed the crap about prosperity for a nation coming from war. Its not possible to be wealthier after spending ones energies &treasure to fight. Production of weapons is no way to create wealth. Sending the nations young off to kill & be killed isnt how to make a nation prosperous, any more than it would benefit a family to spend its earnings on guns & send their children into the neighborhood to kill & be killed children of other families in the neighborhood. Its just stupid to buy into that thinking. |
Title: Re: Looks like the Love for their people Post by tcreeley on 08/02/10 at 14:48:12 Maine has been borrowing and screwing with the state employees pension money for years. Now they are trying hard to find a way to cut benefits. They are starting to get hit with interest on what they borrowed! It is a credit card state- wasteful, & graft. >:( |
