Seems he will have many arms waiting to hold him. Once the joy wears off that he is out and ok, I wonder what awaits him? Hmmm :-?

If I was the bad guy I would remain unwashed,no gal would want to go near me,no bath for 3 months,Pweeeeeeww.then sneek out of town.
to put it correctly "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" and I can personally vouch for that old adage,I still have scars, and my favorite pilot leather jacket (RAF) was torn to shreds,it was draped over a peach tree in all it's elegant pieces.that occasion was the closest I ever came to smacking a woman. I went out and got sh1t faced instead.

No Sir no freedom of speach around here ,it really is rediculous,
A female dog really is a b1tch. that is what they are called.
A dam is a structure to keep water from continuing down the river, when they are gone ,sooner the better.
I mean they say sh1t on regular TV in England, and loads more to make the dialog more interesting, and meaningful, in real life how long do you go without a little damit,or oh sh1t !  I'm afraid the doo gooders on this site are mostly religious and woulden't dream of saying any cuss words ,they just might go to hell ,unless they are catholic ,then with your last breath you can say "Forgive me father for I have sinned", there you go ,good to go to heaven do not stop ,do not pick up $200 ,straight up.   Did you know the US has censored more books than Hitler ever did.

"    But if Yonni Barrios was not overjoyed about the prospect of being rescued it would be understandable - because the Chilean miner’s extra-marital affair was exposed as he sat helpless below the surface.

Barrios, 50, was not greeted by his wife of 28 years Marta Salinas when he became the 21st man to be rescued from the San Jose copper mine in Copiapo, Chile. "

Mike The Bike wrote:
Miner 21 might want to stay below...

Next is Yonni Barrios Rojas, who could be forgiven for having mixed feelings about his emergence. It's Barrios who has both a wife and girlfriend waiting for him above
ground. They learned that each other existed when both turned up... claiming compensation because he was trapped in the mine. Wife and girlfriend almost came to blows some weeks ago.

Now comes the reply to the above post.

That was the official tv version. His cousin lives here in norway and gave a different slant on the news today. Seems Yonnien and the wife have been separated for many years. Yonni and the 'girlfriend' have been living together for many years and are the actual couple in the story. The ex-wife seems to have smelled compensation money and turned up out of the blue.
Probably some catholic church deal about not recognizing divorce in there somewhere.

Puts a different spin on it, doesn't it?

Americans could have done it and did play a major part of the rescue.
A PA company supplied the drill bit and the driller was from Denver CO.

China and Russia offered to help the USA in the oil spill and we refused.

Title: Re: Chilean hellhole...
Post by Red_Wine on 10/14/10 at 10:14:34

Bill is right,

The rescue was almost 100% US-born technology and expertise.

- The T-130 drill rig was made by Schramm, Inc. in West Chester, PA.
- The low-perfil hammers that actually drilled the initial hole and then expanded it into a 28" wide shaft were made by Center Rock, Inc. in Somerset, PA. This company was also involved in the Queecreek rescue a few years ago.
- The driller who was at the controls when the hammer broke through into the area where the miners were was born in Colorado.

Even the rescue capsule design was influenced by the US design used at Quecreek.

And it was NASA who formulated the special diet the men were fed the last few days to prevent upset stomachs during the trip up in the capsule.  It was NASA doctors who were consulted about all of the medical concerns, and NASA shrinks who are being consulted about the mental after effects.

Bill -

We are you so quick to citicize our country, when it's obvious you didn't even know about the massive U.S. involvement in the rescue?

And you are right, Hopey Changey's administration refused outside help dealing with the oil spill - great bit of work that was.

It showed me that in emergencies, people come together to do whatever they can to help their fellow men.
They put any and all differences aside to do so.
I was amazed myself at this rescue.
To all that contributed to a wonderful ending to what could have been a tragedy, Thank You.. Many many hugs to you all.. Kim:)

Our Pres., Hopey Changey, the vastly experienced community organizer, had no such experience or wisdom in dealing with the oil spill.

Jerry have you read the 10th comandment ?otherwise known as wealth envy,No Christoholic can argue against Jesus' horrible case of wealth envy.Jesus wants nothing to do with rich people in heaven, and makes no attempt to love them while on earth.

Then Jesus said to his disciples "I tell you the truth ,it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven .Again I tell you, it is easier to for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God
Matthew 19:23:24

Like most people ,you included Jerry gain most of there skills by doing, there is no such thing or person with experience as a president .
It's not a great job, it only pays $400,000 a year,a few perks as well.
The job is quite unique in that respect.Bush (poopy pants) got by with a host of advisers.Obama is once more being unique in the fact he actually has a brain, and he's not afraid to use it. Are you upset Jerry because he done real well in law school ? and then decided to help the poorer people in chicago, you decided to go for the money and aeroplanes, and that's ok in your position I would do the same thing.
Tell me this, who do you think would have done better job ,McCain,Palin ?  come on Jerry get real ,of the people running for this low paying job who would have been better ,it will be just your opinion because there is no way of proving it ,unlus Sarah Palin makes it in 2012, then God help us.

Gents -

I use Hopey Changey to reinforce that the only thing Obama ran on was that stupid "hope and change" slogan that had no substance or real meaning.  And so far his administration has proved it.

I recall others calling Bush a criminal, war monger, and other derisive names during the last couple of years of his term.  At least the moniker I use is intended to be more humorous than insulting.

And, no Mick, I'm not jealous of anyone.  Remember the old saying that whoever you are, there will always be those greater and lesser than yourself.  I try to learn from those who have accomplished more than I have; not deride them.  As for the pay for Pres., I think I would live quite well on $400K per year, free gov't housing and food, a large staff to wait on me hand and foot, and my own private 747 to cart me around.  Not a bad gig for 4 or 8 years, then after that, millions in book royalties, speakers fees, etc.  Isn't Clinton knocking down around $15 Million a year now?  Good for him.

Back on topic.. I think it is terrible that the 21st man pulled from the hell hole, will be remembered more for the fact that he had not only a wife, yet a mistress as well.
I could have cared less about that

. The fact that he was one of 33 men that survived that ordeal is more important to me.
The way he and the rest survived and what kept them going is more important to me.
Their seems to always be some kind of black cloud to cover sunny skies.
I send him and his family as well as the rest all the best to come.. :) kim

I "like" your use of "we killed".  What is your source for these numbers?

I presume that since you used the words "we killed", you are saying that these numbers of killed and wounded are the direct result of American armed action.

Wouldn't it be better put, and far more accurate,  that these casualites happened as a direct result of the insane jealousy and internal strive among the sects of Islam that infest Iraq, as they seek to destroy each other?

The uneducated are religious because they don't know any better. It is much esier to just believe what you are told than to develope an independent thought pattern. But religion doesn't stop there because it also infects the rich, the educated, and otherwise sound minds of society.

Most of these people have far to much pride to admit they fell for it.The movement against religion will grow stronger and stronger, the evidence against it will pile higher and higher, but the religious still won't budge. They cant stand the thought of being incorrect, fooled,or simply looking like a jackass.  Me ? The uneducated are religious because they don't know any better

Maybe Im TIRED of your belief that you are somehow superior for failing to see what is clear, obvious to the point of being beyond question to others,, I dont care HOW many "Geniuses" say there is no God, I KNOW better. Sad for you that you dont. Your inability to see what is known &^ UNDERSTOOD by others IS NOT TAUGHT, it is simply known by us, because we have seen & understood things that make it impossible to NOT believe in God.
